Attention Salt Lake Community College students – we’re looking for participants for our new Diesel Mechanic scholarship and internship program. You’ll have the chance to learn how to repair and maintain our buses while earning a tuition stipend, hourly pay and a UTA transit pass. Interested or know someone who is? • Applicants must be Salt Lake Community College students enrolled in the Diesel Mechanic program who are at least 18 years old.
• Students will receive up to $3,000 per semester for tuition, books and fees, up to $13 per hour in additional wages and a UTA transit pass.
• Students will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week.
