In previous years, the Rider’s License has been available for purchase at a presale price for $75 and a regular price of $99. This year, however, there is good news! The pass is now available all summer long for the price of $49. This significant price reduction will allow younger UTA riders greater access to their favorite places all over the valley, all summer long.
There are several places within the Wasatch Front community that are easily accessible by riding UTA that would make summer that much better. We’ve listed a few of the most popular destinations below, but keep in mind that these are just the beginning of possibilities of where your Rider’s License can take you.
1. Lagoon Amusement Park
It’s what fun is, and with UTA, fun just got better. Ride FrontRunner to the Farmington Station and take the new trolley bus, route 667, directly to the park. Use the Rider’s License to get to Lagoon for entertainment, employment opportunities, or simply to try out the new roller coaster that you’ve been working up the courage for all year long.
2. City Creek Center
Reach your favorite shops and entertainment options easily by riding TRAX Blue or Green Line to the City Center Station. City Creek has dozens of shops and restaurants that are sure to quickly fill up lazy summer afternoons.
3. Summer Jobs
Using the summer to save up? A great way to save even more money and get to work without the stress of driving and parking is by riding UTA. There is easy access to several popular work locations throughout the state, including downtown Salt Lake, Provo, and Ogden cities. Supplement your transit ride with a bike ride or walk and you’re getting in your workout while getting to work, as well.
