On Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010 UTA hoisted the final girders into place on the North Temple viaduct. This portion of the viaduct will host the future roadway, which UTA’s contractor Stacy Witbeck Kiewit is actively working towards opening ahead of the orginal 18-month schedule for constructing the viaduct. The viaduct is being reconstructed as part of the Airport TRAX line scheduled to open in 2012 or 2013.
