A stone’s throw from Central Pointe Station, Pat’s BBQ serves up delicious meats from one of the most unassuming locations – 155 West Commonwealth Avenue (2125 South).

In fact, if you weren’t looking for Pat’s you might never find it. The restaurant is housed in an old industrial-style warehouse. Regardless, the location draws in hundreds of patrons each week, particularly on Friday – burnt ends day.

Once a weekend barbecue competitor, Pat turned his passion into a full-time occupation after winning several national awards. His food continues to come in as a winner, whether it’s the ribs, barbecue brisket, chicken or pulled pork. The Southern-style spread also includes a variety of sides like red beans and rice and cornbread.

Menu items start out at about $5 and run to about $15. The Friday burnt ends special runs just under $12.

While devouring the tasty fare, diners are frequently treated to live Blues.
