Located just a block from the Ballpark TRAX station, riders will find a haunt recognized as one of America’s scariest attractions. Nightmare on 13th, located at 300 West 1300 South, is Utah’s longest running haunted house.

The attraction is open through Nov. 5, from 7-10 p.m. Mon. through Thurs., 7 p.m. – midnight on Fri. and Sat., and closed Sundays. During October, Nightmare on 13th is expected to scare over 65,000 people.

True to it’s name, Nightmare on 13th continues to feature some of the scariest Hollywood creations – from Freddy to the more recent Pirates of the Caribbean. The haunt also features a variety of original scares.

The horror begins in Nightmare Theater, a large waiting room where visitors are taunted by Freddy and horror films flash across the large screens. Beyond the theater, guests navigate the 36,000 square-ft. warehouse running from zombies, vampires and the bone chilling pitch black room. Simply going through the space can take an hour or more.
