Love the Twilight Concert Series, but hate fighting for a parking spot? Enjoy the music and avoid traffic jams and parking stress by riding TRAX to the shows, which are held Thursday nights at Pioneer Park.

The concert series kicks off tonight, July 18, with bands Belle and Sebastian and Blitzen Trapper, and continues every Thursday until September 5. There will also be a special Wednesday concert held on Aug. 7 with Grizzly Bear and Youth Lagoon.  This year’s lineup features a variety of artists like Kid Cudi, Ludacris and the Flaming Lips. Shows start at 7 p.m. and have a $5, cash-only admission.  Details at http://twilightconcertseries.com.

Pioneer Park is located at 350 W. 300 South and is a short walk from the Planetarium and Old Greek Town TRAX Blue Line stations. There will be a bike and skateboard valet parking service provided by Salt Lake City Bicycle Collective. Please note that TRAX runs until approximately 11:30 p.m. on weekdays.
