September is just around the corner, bringing with it one of the city’s most loved events – the Salt Lake City Greek Festival. This four-day festival features authentic Greek cuisine, music and dancing, and is easily accessible via public transportation.

The Salt Lake City Greek Festival has been a downtown tradition for 38 years. Each year, more than 50,000 visitors come for the chance to taste handmade delicacies like loukoumades and spanakopita, enjoy traditional Greek dances, browse the marketplace and tour the nearly 90-year-old Holy Trinity Cathedral, built in 1925 on the corner of 300 West and 300 South.

The Greek Festival is located at 279 South 300 West and can be accessed from the TRAX Blue Line. It runs from Thursday, Sept. 5 to Sunday, Sept. 8. Admission is $3. Information about the festival is available here.
