It’s a bird, it’s a plane…it’s a UTA bus, and it’s a great way to travel to your favorite comic book store. Celebrate National Comic Book Day today, Sept. 25, by riding public transit to your local comic book store.

Although the origins of National Comic Book Day are unclear, the first comic books were printed 80 years ago. The genre gained popularity when Superman and Batman were created in the late 1930s. Today, the most valuable comic is a $2.87 million Action Comic from 1938 that describes the origin of Superman.
