What’s better than great local food? How about great local food, at prices that won’t give your wallet indigestion? During Downtown Dine O’ Round, more than 40 Salt Lake City restaurants are offering special reduced-price, multiple course menus. Many of the participating restaurants are just steps away from public transit.

Starting Friday, Sept. 13, select restaurants will offer a $5 or $10 two-item lunch or a $15 or $30 three-item dinner. This year’s Dine O’ Round venues include downtown classics like Lambs Grill and Cannella’s, as well as new eateries like Plum Alley and Pallet. Dine O’ Round runs until Sept. 29.

While enjoying these dining deals, don’t forget to take advantage of some of UTA’s current fare promotions. Grab three friends and ride FrontRunner, TRAX or buses to a Dine O ’Round restaurant for just $15, round trip. The group pass is good all day after 10 a.m. If you’re headed to the University of Utah football game, you can use your game day ticket as your UTA fare, then meet up for a post-game celebration at one of the participating restaurants.

This is the ninth year Downtown Dine O’ Round has been offered. The program is designed to encourage residents to check out new restaurants and revisit some old favorites. A full list of participating restaurants is available here. UTA’s schedules are available here.
