This week, many students are enjoying a four-day break while teachers attend the Utah Education Association (UEA) Convention. We’ve listed a few public transit-accessible fall activities to keep your little ghouls and goblins busy.

Frightmares

During Frightmares, visitors to Lagoon can enjoy amusement park rides as well as fall features like a straw maze and haunted attractions. UTA is offering special weekday service to Lagoon for UEA break. Route 667 will run from 8:05 a.m. to 11:22 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17 and Friday, Oct. 18. On Saturday, Oct. 19, route 667 will operate on its regular Saturday schedule, running from 8:05 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. After UEA, the bus will return to its normal Saturday-only schedule until Lagoon closes for the winter. Route 470 will also make a stop at Lagoon at 12:25 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, only.

Cornbelly’s

Cornbelly’s is located at Thanksgiving Point and offers pumpkin picking, games, a corn maze, hayrides rides and more. Cornbelly’s can be accessed from route 850 or 811. Both routes connect to FrontRunner stations. Information about bus and FrontRunner access to Thanksgiving Point is available here.

Wheeler Farm Pumpkin Days

Wheeler Farm offers a variety of fall activities, including hayrides, a maze and a pumpkin patch. The festivities can be accessed via route 209.
