Want to help the Utah Transit Authority and other local organizations reduce traffic, enhance public transportation options and improve air quality in southern Davis County? We want to hear from you! Come and share your thoughts at an open house from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at North Salt Lake City Hall, 10 E. Center Street in North Salt Lake.

Feedback from the open house will be incorporated into the Davis-SLC Community Connector Transit Study. The study is designed identify ways to improve transportation throughout Bountiful, North Salt Lake and Salt Lake City, foster better air quality and enhance bike and pedestrian routes. The study, conducted by UTA, Bountiful, North Salt Lake, Salt Lake City, Davis County, the Wasatch Front Regional Council and the Utah Department of Transportation, will also look for ways to revitalize travel corridors and improve the local economy.

Attendees at the open house will have a chance to chat with the project team and discuss the future of transportation in the area.
