In honor of Transit Driver Appreciation Day, we’d like to thank the UTA bus, TRAX and FrontRunner operators who work hard to help get riders where they need to go. Each day, our operators serve thousands of passengers across our 1,400 square mile service area. If there is a UTA bus or rail operator who helps make your commute a little easier, today is a great day to thank them.

We encourage you to:

• Submit a commendation or share your thoughts over the phone at 801-RIDE-UTA.
• Leave a message here, on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. We’ll pass your messages along to the drivers and their supervisors.
• Print one of the thank-you cards found here and share it with your bus or rail operator.
• Take a photo with your favorite operator and share it on social media. Don’t forget to tag UTA (@rideuta) and use the Transit Driver Appreciation Day hashtag #tdad.

UTA currently employees just over 1,000 bus and rail operators. We have 50 FrontRunner operators, 125 TRAX and S-Line operators, 735 full and part-time fixed route bus drivers and 111 full and part-time flex route bus drivers.
