This is the last week to give feedback at a Prop 1 open house. Share your thoughts about proposed service improvements in Weber and Davis counties on Tuesday, April 19, at Clearfield Station or Thursday, April 21, at the Davis County Central Library in Layton. This is also your chance to give input on proposed route 628 (details below). The Layton open house will also give visitors the chance to tour a 35-foot Gillig trolley replica bus that could be used in Davis and Weber counties as early as 2017.

Proposed Prop 1 improvements include a 46 percent increase in Weber and Davis county bus service over a three year period. Residents of those counties can also expect to see a 93 percent increase in annual weekend bus service, as well as improvements to bike lanes, trails and more than 100 bus stops. Some route enhancements were implemented earlier this month, with more to come in August. A service improvement plan for Tooele County, which also passed Prop 1, will be available to the public soon.
