The Utah Transit Authority is encouraging the public to avoid traffic and parking congestion by taking public transportation to the University of Utah versus University of San Diego State football game, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m.

To accommodate large crowds heading to the football game, UTA will run three additional TRAX trains from Sandy to Rice Eccles Stadium for increased capacity Saturday afternoon.

Extra trains will depart Sandy Civic Center station at 12:34, 12:49 and 1:04 p.m. These trains will stop at all stations between Sandy and the Courthouse station and continue directly to the University Stadium station. This is in addition to the regular Saturday TRAX schedule which runs every 15 minutes. All other Sandy trains will require a transfer at Gallivan Plaza station to a University train.

All trains will have extra cars both before and after the game to accommodate more riders.

For detailed schedule information, visit www.rideuta.com or call 1-888-RIDE-UTA (743-3882).

Travel Tip: Try out the new expanded group pass-$12 for up to four riders to ride all day during regular service hours. Good on TRAX, bus and FrontRunner. FrontRunner runs hourly on Saturdays.
