We’re sharing our 50th Anniversary commemorative book with you this month with each week showcasing a decade. This week we’re doing “Back in the 90s.”

Another fun way to travel through UTA history is with our augmented reality effects. Head to our Augment Your Ride campaign page to learn more.

A few notables from the UTA in the 90s:

  • 1991: Our Ed Pass Program is launched with University of Utah.
  • 1995: We provide transportation for Stephen Hawking via our Paratransit services.
  • 1998: We retire our original logo and adopt our current one.
  • 1999: Our first TRAX service commences: the Blue Line from Sandy to Salt Lake City.

Take a moment to walk through all the pages of this decade. You will likely discover something new about your public transit agency.

Join us next week for the 2000s!
