Do you board MAX, other bus routes or TRAX at the West Valley Central Station? Starting April 10, your boarding or parking location may change due to a West Valley City construction project in the area.

MAX: MAX service will pick up and drop off bus passengers at the West Valley Central bus loop instead of the MAX shelter adjacent to the TRAX platform. No other MAX stations will be impacted.

TRAX, MAX and local bus: The UTA Park & Ride lot northwest of West Valley Central Station will be closed. Riders who use that lot are encouraged to park at UTA’s Decker Lake TRAX Station, located at 3070 South 2200 West.

Construction is expected to last approximately two years as West Valley City constructs a new public safety building and a seven-story parking garage. The parking garage will be built on the site of the current Park & Ride lot. When construction is complete, the bottom 200 parking spaces will be reserved for UTA patrons, and the MAX bus pickup will be returned to its original location.
