We’re excited to announce that one of our favorite operators is coming back to celebrate with us this year! Come and ride the FrontRunner on December 20 and see Santa drive the train. In this family fun holiday activity, you can experience UTA in a whole new way.

You can catch the special train at these times and locations:
•    10:37 a.m. – 12:42 p.m. from Ogden Central Station to Provo Central Station
•    1:18 p.m. – 2:25 p.m. from Provo Central Station to Salt Lake Central Station
•    4:36 p.m. – 5:42 p.m. from Salt Lake Central Station to Provo Central Station

From 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Santa will be in his workshop at the Salt Lake Central Station. UTA staff will be handing out swag, hot chocolate, and treats, and you can celebrate all while getting the chance to meet and take pictures with the big man himself. If you get off at Salt Lake Central, consider exploring downtown Salt Lake! The Downtown Salt Lake City Alliance put together great resources on how to give, shop, get around, and celebrate this holiday season. Check it out at www.downtownslc.org/holiday.

If you want to hop on Santa’s preferred mode of transit, consider buying a UTA Group Pass for $15. The Group Pass allows four people to ride together all day on all modes. We would call it a holiday miracle, but you can buy it all year round! If you prefer riding solo, try our UTA GoRide app to purchase your ticket.
