Vending and Concessions

UTA’s policies and ordinances currently prohibit commercial activities on its property. But with the growth of the system, the opening of FrontRunner and the new rail lines that will be opening in the next few years, the agency is actively considering vending and commercial activities. UTA is currently conducting some research and analysis on what concessions and amenities would be most valuable to our riders, and present the most viable opportunities for generating revenue and/or increasing ridership.

When the research and analysis is concluded, UTA will develop new policies to administer approved vending, concessions and commercial activities. The agency will then move forward with the required competitive RFP processes to implement those activities.
