Ride Time SMS service is presently not working and will not be back in use until early July. We know it's a helpful tool for our riders and we are working hard to bring it back online. We appreciate your patience.
In the meantime, we encourage you to use Customer Service's automated phone system to retrieve your next bus time: 801-RIDE-UTA (743-3882). We also recommend Google Transit Maps and the Transit App to help plan your trip.
We will notify riders when Ride Time is back in service via a Ride Time text message, Facebook and Twitter.
Real-Time Bus Info at Your Fingertips
The Ride Time SMS text message service gives riders real-time bus departure information for more than 6500 bus stops throughout the service area. Ride Time works on any mobile phone with text-messaging capabilities. Just follow these easy steps:
- Find the Stop ID on your bus stop sign. The Stop ID is the six digit location number normally shown on one side of the bus stop sign.
- Text the Stop ID number to UTA-UTA (882-882) and send.
- Ride Time will send you a reply with the next three bus stop departure times from that location.
Ride Time is funded in part by advertisements located at the bottom of the text message reply. Severe weather or traffic problems may affect the accuracy of Ride Time's predictive departure information.
