Monday, May 12

Road Respect Press Event – 10 a.m. on the south stairs of the State Capitol. Learn about the Road Respect program and get tips on ways that cyclists and drivers can share the road at this press conference. Join us for a casual ride from City Creek Center to the Capitol at 9:30 a.m.

Riverdale Bicycle Rodeo – 6 p.m. at the Riverdale Park Amphitheater, 4300 S. Parker Drive, Riverdale.

Tuesday, May 13

Salt Lake County and Salt Lake City Bike to Work Day – 7:30 a.m. at the northeast corner of Liberty Park. Join Salt Lake officials and residents for a low-key bike ride from Liberty Park to the Salt Lake County complex and the downtown area.

Orem Bike to Work Day – 7:30 to 9 a.m., Canyon Park Technology Center, 750 Technology Way, Orem. Enjoy a free pancake breakfast, bike gear, tune-ups and free helmets for the first 50 participants before biking to work with Mayor Richard Brunst at 8:15 a.m.

Ride with the Riverdale Mayor – 6:30 p.m. at the Riverdale City Offices, 4600 S. Parker Drive, Riverdale.

Wednesday, May 14

Bicycling for Fitness and Commuting – 6:30 p.m. at the Riverdale Park upper pavilion, 4300 S. Parker Drive, Riverdale.

Provo Bike to Work Day – 7:30 a.m. at the Historic County Courthouse, 51 S. University Ave., Provo. Enter a drawing to win a bike and enjoy free food before riding with Mayor John Curtis at 8 a.m.

Thursday, May 15

Commuter Pit Stops in Salt Lake City – 7 to 9 a.m. Biking to work on Thursday? Visit one of six stations around the city for free cycling maps, safety gear, coffee, bagels and more. Don’t forget to stop by UTA’s table at 200 S. Main Street.

Friday, May 16

UTA’s Bike Bonanza – 4 to 8 p.m. at Gallivan Plaza, 239 S. Main Street, Salt Lake City. Join UTA for an afternoon of biking fun for the whole family, complete with free pizza and ice cream, a BMX show and free helmets for the first 75 children to attend.

Bike Art Gallery Roll – 6 to 9 p.m. at 247 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Tour local art galleries, shops and more by bike during the Bike Art Gallery Roll.

Saturday, May 17

Springville City Ride with the Mayor – 9:30 a.m. at the Springville Civic Center, 110 S. Main St., Springville. Grab free food and a free bike helmet for the first 50 participants before biking with Mayor Wilford Clyde at 10 a.m. After the ride, the city will celebrate the grand opening of its new splash pad.
