It’s Twilight Concert Series time in Salt Lake City and this year’s lineup is once again packed with big names from indie-rock, alternative country, hip-hop, R&B and more. The concert series kicks off its 30th season tonight with headliners Little Dragon and Xenia Rubinos.
The concert series is not only famous for its music, but also the festival-like atmosphere it creates in Pioneer Park. Twilight features food and beverages from locally owned businesses as well as a local craft market.
What You Need to Know
Tickets: Individual tickets range in price from $7.50 for an advance single ticket to $10 for a day of show single ticket. Tickets can be purchased online, in person at ticket outlets or at the venue the day of the show. Tickets purchased at the concert venue are cash only.
Venue: All Twilight Concert Series concerts are held at Pioneer Park (350 S. 300 W.) in Salt Lake City. Gates open at 5 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m. Concerts run every Thursday from July 20 - August 31.
Transportation: Whether you’re looking for an environmentally-friendly way to get to the concert, you want to save money on gas, or you just want to avoid the hassle of driving, UTA is a great option. Take the TRAX Blue Line to Old Greek Town and Planetarium stations. Pioneer Park is just a short walk from either station.
Save money on your UTA ticket: Don’t forget you can save 40 percent off local bus fare and 20 percent off TRAX, S-Line and FrontRunner fares with a FAREPAY card. If you’re planning on going to the show with your friends, the UTA group pass is a great option that allows up to four people to travel together on UTA for just $15.
