As part of the Airport TRAX line construction UTA and Salt Lake City formed a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) made up of local residents and businesses. The CAC gives input on construction issues and has also had a major role in helping promote North Temple during construction. The group developed the Shop North Temple I Do campaign to support businesses impacted by construction. The campaign focuses the variety of businesses located on the street and the benefits they provide to the local community.

Businesses along North Temple are handing out Shop North Temple buttons, and have been supported with billboards, direct mail, radio ads and now TV ads.

UTA has committed to maintain 24-hour access to all businesses and residents along North Temple. Construction of the line will likely be completed in late 2012 or early 2013.
