Want to avoid crowded campus parking lots? Looking for a way to squeeze in a little extra study time on your commute? Consider riding UTA to class this fall. We’ve got some great new options to help get you to campus.

Weber State University

Our new fast bus is designed to help students travel from the Ogden Intermodal Center to Weber State University with minimal stops. Route 650 will run to campus every 30 minutes from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Westbound buses will depart from Weber State every 60 minutes from 10:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Service begins Monday, Aug. 26, and will run weekdays on days when fall and spring semester classes are in session.

University of Utah

This year we’ve added a morning trip on route 473 to help students in Weber and Davis counties get to the University of Utah. In addition, to reduce traffic issues on home game days, the University of Utah is sponsoring a program that allows you to board TRAX, FrontRunner or buses using your athletic event ticket as fare. Details here.

Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University

In Utah County, changes were made to two bus routes to allow students better access to Utah Valley University. Route 806 will now make two additional morning and afternoon trips to help students in Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs reach campus. Route 807 has also added morning and afternoon trips to help serve UVU students living in Highland, Cedar Hills, American Fork and Pleasant Grove.

UTA is also working to give BYU football fans better stadium access. Route 830 bus service will be increased on Saturday home games to allow fans to easily transfer from FrontRunner to LaVell Edwards Stadium. BYU fans are encouraged to connect to the 830 at Provo Station, which provides the quickest route to the stadium.
