Sunday, December 6 is schedule change day, and with it comes the start of ski service to many resorts. Ski bus service to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon resorts starts Sunday and service to Sundance and Ogden-area resorts starts Saturday, December 19.

New Ski Shelters and Ski/Snowboard Organizers

UTA has added several new ski shelters to help riders stay warm as they wait for the bus. A heated shelter with lights was constructed near Snowbird’s Cliff Lodge in partnership with the resort. UTA also added a ski shelter at the Park & Ride lot at 8200 S. Wasatch Blvd. and replaced the existing structure at the Park & Ride lot on 6200 S. Wasatch Blvd. with a new 16-foot shelter.

We’ve also installed new ski and snowboard organizers on each ski bus. These organizers fit inside the ski/snowboard bins and keep equipment from getting scratched and tangled. They were created by UTA body shop employee Tyler Judd and feature one of 10 custom ski or snowboard designs.

Sundance season pass holders can ride route 880 free with their season pass. Snowbasin season pass holders can ride UTA ski buses to the resort for a $10 processing fee, and Powder Mountain season pass holders can ride ski buses for $30.
