UTA On Demand charges regular fare of $2.50 ($1.25 reduced).

UTA On Demand is provided by our contractor Via Transportation. To request a ride in a UTA On Demand zone, download the UTA On Demand app. If you need help or have any questions, call 385-217-8191 or email support-slc@ridewithvia.com.

UTA On Demand vehicles do not accept cash.

Credit, Debit, or Electronic Fare Card

Add your credit, debit, FAREPAY Card, or school- or employer-provided UTA pass information to your account in the UTA On Demand app. Whenever you book a ride, the app will automatically use that card for your fare.

If you don’t use a smartphone, call 385-217-8191 to add a payment method to your account and book a ride over the phone.

Paper Pass, Transfer, or Transit App

Select UTA Paper Ticket or Transfer under Payment Methods in the UTA On Demand app. Show your paper or digital ticket to the driver when you board. If your transfer has expired (2 hours), you will need another method of payment.

If you request a ride in the Transit app, you will be redirected to the UTA On Demand app for payment.
