Mobility as a Service (MaaS) integrates various types of app-based mobility products into a single platform intended to improve an overall customer experience. These products give users the ability to seamlessly plan and pay for a multimodal trip using a combination of public and private transportation services based on a desired route or destination. MaaS modes can include many types of services such as transit, shared micromobility, TNCs (Lyft and Uber), car sharing, and more. UTA offers two types of MaaS products to customers for mobile trip planning and payments, Transit App and UTA GoRide.

Transit App
The Transit app is a mobile trip planning and fare payment tool, with real-time tracking, designed to help riders navigate UTA’s transit network, along with giving users the ability to plan multimodal trips using transit services and other mobility options to reach a destination. The app is free to download and requires a smart phone with an iOS or Android operating system. After downloading the app riders can use their mobile devices for single or multimodal route trip planning, check nearby departures, and receive service alerts.
