Headed to the big University of Utah vs. Weber State game on Thursday, Aug. 30? UTA is a great way to get to the Rice-Eccles Stadium. Your football ticket doubles as UTA fare all day on Aug. 30, and it can be used to ride FrontRunner, TRAX and local buses.

Travel tips:

If you're riding FrontRunner from Utah County or southern Salt Lake County, transfer to TRAX at Murray Central. If you're coming from Davis or Weber counties, grab a convenient direct bus at Salt Lake Central Station. We're also running direct TRAX service from Draper to Thursday's game.

Plan ahead. The game starts at 6 p.m., so trains will be crowded with both commuters and football fans. We've added trains to accommodate the increase in riders, but please leave early and allow yourself some extra time to reach the stadium. Don't overcrowd the trains, as that will prevent doors from closing and can create mechanical issues.

Questions? Ask on Twitter at @rideuta. UTA volunteers will also be at TRAX stations if you need assistance.
