NBA All-Star Weekend 2023

NBA All-Star Game Service

Salt Lake City is hosting the 72nd NBA All-Star Game, which will take place at Vivint Smart Home Arena, home of the Utah Jazz, on Sunday, February 19, 2023. This will mark the 30th anniversary of the 1993 NBA All-Star Game played in Salt Lake City.

UTA is working on service plans for bus, TRAX and FrontRunner from February 12-21, 2023. More information and detailed schedules will be coming soon.

Plan Your Trip

The best way to plan your trip on UTA during the NBA All-Star Game festivities is to download the Transit app available on the App Store or Google Play. This app works similarly to Google Maps. Type in your destination and pick the bus route or train that you want to take.

Zero Fare

UTA will be offering ten zero fare days, February 12-21, during NBA All-Star week. This includes FrontRunner, TRAX, all bus services including Ski Bus, Paratransit, and UTA On-Demand.

In addition, UTA will be providing a ticket-as-fare promotion for airport travelers the entire month of February for those with a valid day-of-travel airline ticket. This means anyone flying into, or out of, either the Salt Lake City International Airport or Provo Municipal Airport can ride free on the UTA system with a printed or digital airline boarding pass dated for valid day-of-travel.
