Today is Transit Driver Appreciation Day!

We pause on this day to say thank you to UTA's bus and paratransit operators, and FrontRunner and TRAX engineers, that move thousands of people every day, along the Wasatch Front.

The past year exemplified their commitment to serving the community by making sure other essential employees were able to get to work, transit-dependent people could get to doctor's appointments and all of us could rely on transit despite challenges we faced.

Below are just three of the 1000 operators at UTA. Take a moment meet them and hear firsthand why they love what they do.

Don drives UVX out of our Timpanogos Service Unit in Utah County.

Paula is a FrontRunner engineer based out of our Warm Springs Rail Facility.

Marie is a bus operator from Mount Ogden Service Unit.
